What it means

P0105 means the ECM has detected a fault in the manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor circuit. The MAP sensor measures intake manifold pressure so the ECM can gauge engine load and meter fuel and timing. A faulty signal can make the engine run rough, lose power, use more fuel, and in some cases stall or start hard.

  4. Compare the MAP reading against actual manifold pressure under load.
  5. Replace the MAP/BARO sensor if it reads inaccurately, then clear and retest.
