What it means

P2153 means the supply voltage feeding fuel-injector group C is lower than expected. If that voltage drops far enough, the injectors in that group can't open properly, causing misfires, rough running, and in the worst case stalling. The usual causes are wiring and connector faults, a blown feed fuse/relay, or a failing injector control module.

  4. Test the control module grounds against battery ground for a clean, low-resistance path.
  5. If supply and grounds are good, suspect the injector control module; replace and retest.
