What it means
P2154 means the PCM detected an abnormally high voltage on the supply circuit feeding fuel injector group 'C'. Because that circuit powers a group of injectors, the affected cylinders may not fire correctly, causing misfire, rough running, or hard starting. The usual causes are a wiring short-to-voltage or open, or a faulty injector control/driver module — this is a circuit fault, not a worn part.

How to diagnose & fix
Work through it in order
- Read freeze-frame data and visually inspect the injector supply wiring and connectors.
- Check the injector control module (FICM/driver) supply voltage circuit against spec.
- Test the module ground circuits against battery ground for excessive resistance.
- Repair any short-to-voltage or open in the supply harness to the injector group.
- If wiring and grounds are good, replace the faulty injector control/driver module and re-test.
