What it means

P0345 means the ECM has lost or seen a faulty signal from the camshaft position sensor on bank 2. The ECM uses that signal to time fuel injection and spark, so a dropout can cause hard starting, stalling, or an outright no-start. The usual cause is the sensor itself or its wiring, sometimes oil-fouled, so inspect the sensor and connector before replacing parts.

  5. If the circuit is good, inspect the tone ring for damage. Clear and re-test.
