What it means
P006C means the manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor and the turbocharger inlet-pressure sensor are giving readings that don't agree with each other. The ECM cross-checks the two, and when they disagree it can't trust its boost data. This usually points to a faulty pressure sensor, a boost or vacuum leak, or a wiring problem. The engine often limits power until the mismatch is resolved.
