What it means
P00A2 means the bank 2 charge-air-cooler (intercooler) temperature sensor is reading an abnormally low voltage β usually a short to ground or a failed sensor. This sensor tells the ECM how warm the compressed intake air is after the intercooler on a turbo- or supercharged engine, so it can trim fueling, boost, and timing. On its own it rarely affects how the car drives.
