P0049 means the ECM has calculated that the turbocharger (or supercharger) turbine is spinning faster than its safe limit — an overspeed/overboost condition. This is one to take seriously: sustained overspeed can wreck the turbo and damage the engine, so limit driving until it's diagnosed.
